The second annual conference responded to a key priority identified by the 2005 conference participants for more in depth knowledge about information technology. The conference highlighted entrepreneurial solutions that can be used to scale innovations across departments and jurisdictions. The conference focused on how technology is being successfully implemented in business, other government and non-profit and leading child welfare systems. Stewards of Change published the findings of its yearlong environmental scan. This material has been widely disseminated across the field and is considered one of the most comprehensive overviews of historical, current and emerging technology trends having impact on the field.
